An exceptional Art Deco bracelet from circa 1930, crafted in platinum and 18K yellow gold and set with 59 diamonds totaling approximately 6.11 carats.
The articulated front is composed of geometric platinum panels, each centered by a prominent round diamond framed within an angular hexagonal motif and accented by smaller diamonds. The crisp symmetry and repeating geometry create the strong architectural character associated with Art Deco jewelry.
Particularly distinctive is the contrast between the diamond-set platinum front and the warm 18K yellow-gold twisted-rope borders, which continue around the openwork back of the bracelet. Substantial yet beautifully balanced on the wrist, the bracelet weighs 52.5 grams and measures approximately 0.75 inch wide.
An important and highly wearable period jewel combining strong Deco geometry, generous diamond weight and sophisticated two-tone construction.
