Each mirror is framed in richly grained walnut with a restrained rectilinear profile, beveled lower corners and a softly arched upper opening. The warm wood and architectural silhouette make the pair especially effective above twin nightstands, flanking a credenza, or as a coordinated dressing-room installation.

The original Brown-Saltman paper label is preserved and photographed. Brown-Saltman is recognized for high-quality California modern furniture associated with leading designers of the postwar period; no individual designer is attributed here.
