Presenting a magnificent pair of vintage Chinese hardwood paperweights (or scroll weights), crafted from dense Huali Rosewood with a rich, warm patina and striking natural grain. Each piece is exquisitely carved with traditional ruyi cloud motifs and stylized mythical beast (ruishou) heads, beautifully accented with a single red gemstone cabochon inlay. The reverse side features additional carved cloud and dot patterns. These elegant weights are perfect for holding down paper, scrolls, or calligraphy, while also serving as refined decorative accents for a desk or scholar's studio.
