Beautiful antique Weller Burntwood pottery jardiniere dating to the early 20th century. This Arts & Crafts-era piece features deeply incised and hand-worked stylized floral decoration surrounded by an intricate stippled ground. The warm ivory and brown exterior is finished with a contrasting dark brown rim and foot, while the interior has a rich ochre glaze.
A wonderful example of Weller’s distinctive Burntwood line, combining strong graphic floral imagery with the handcrafted character associated with American Arts & Crafts pottery.
