This vintage low table is crafted from African rosewood, valued for its warm honey-brown tone and striking grain. The rectangular top features a central inlaid composition of a dragon and phoenix — classic Chinese auspicious imagery representing harmony and marital bliss — rendered in iridescent shell and colored stone inlay.
The table rests on a simple, sturdy frame with a lower stretcher, making it suitable as a display stand for tea wares, ceramics, or scholar's objects. Its low profile also allows it to function as a small altar table or collector's stand.
