The dark cast iron has developed a beautiful naturally weathered copper, rust, and aged patina throughout. I especially love the contrast between the dark body and warm oxidized finish around the bowl. The weathering has been left untouched and gives the planter wonderful old-world character.
The generously sized bowl provides plenty of room for flowers, trailing plants, greenery, or a small topiary. There is also a drainage opening with grate/insert in the bottom, making it suitable for actual planting.
