A wonderful set of five vintage Sasaki “Tartan” cups, designed by Charles Roberts and made in Japan. These charming ceramic cups feature the collection’s signature red, burgundy, black, and deep green tartan-plaid design, beautifully set against crisp white interiors and finished with gracefully shaped white handles.
Perfect for coffee, tea, cocoa, or holiday entertaining, this graphic plaid pattern brings a warm, tailored touch to a Christmas table, ski cabin, lodge-inspired kitchen, or collected traditional table setting. The cups also make excellent replacements for an existing Sasaki Tartan service, as the pattern has been discontinued. Sasaki’s Tartan Plaid Red pattern was produced from 1992 through 1999.
A versatile and festive group for serving espresso, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or mulled cider—especially lovely for autumn and winter gatherings, Christmas brunch, or a classic tartan-themed tablescape.
