A striking antique pie cabinet, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920), A scarce combination of primitive form and Arts & Crafts tile detail.
The cabinet retains a beautifully worn original blue/green painted surface, naturally distressed over time to reveal warm wood undertones. The upper frieze is inset with a band of Arts & Crafts style tiles.
Double front doors with newly installed screens open to a simple interior fitted with a single shelf, exhibiting a rich patina consistent with age. This piece retains its original hardware.
Truly, a compelling example of early American furniture.
