Miro Kenarov’s “Tuscany Poppies” brings the warmth and romance of the Italian countryside to an impressively scaled, ready-to-install presentation. The composition depicts a sun-washed Tuscan villa surrounded by stately cypress trees, rolling vineyards, and vibrant red poppies. Soft lavender hills recede into the distance, creating an atmospheric sense of depth, while the richly colored foreground gives the work a dramatic presence from across the room.
This signed limited-edition giclée was produced on archival, museum-quality paper as part of a published edition of 250. Kenarov’s stylized signature appears at the lower-right corner of the image. The individual edition number has not been verified.
The artwork is presented beneath protective glass within an exceptionally substantial custom framing treatment. Multiple layers of designer matting in parchment, taupe, olive, and black surround the image, complemented by decorative silver-toned inner molding and a wide bronze-and-black marbled outer frame. The signed giclée, layered designer, and matting present beautifully and remain in excellent visible condition, with no noted tears, creases, stains, or significant fading. The protective glass is clear and in excellent condition, with no observed cracks or chips. The substantial 50-inch frame exhibited several minor cosmetic imperfections along its edges and corners. These areas have been carefully stabilized, color-integrated, and professionally touched up while preserving the frame’s original bronze-toned character and subtle finish variation. No significant structural damage is present. In keeping with the Old Town Chapel refinishing philosophy, restoration was deliberately restrained: distracting damage was corrected without erasing the honest character and dimensional variation that give a vintage piece its depth. Minor evidence of age and previous use may remain when examined closely. The artwork has not been removed from its original framed presentation; therefore, an individual edition number has not been independently verified. less
