He is widely recognized for creating commercial children's characters, designing Disney and Uncle Scrooge products for over 45 years, and his association as an early mentor and collaborator to pop artist Alec Monopoly.

MiMo designed a substantial amount of artwork for Alec Monopoly for almost 5 years, creating hundreds of pieces for him. He is a street artist from way back in the 70's and became a Professional Illustrator and Product Designer in the 1980's. He has illustrated over 100 licensed kids' books with Disney, Warner, Ninja Turtles, and dozens more.

“Cash Money Richie" is an exceptional piece of original artwork by MiMo. Wall Street Journal paper from 1907 serves as the backdrop for Richie Rich and his cash money machine, executed with other rare materials, including a myriad of different metal flakes that were sourced by MiMo from six different countries, and acrylic paint, all of which are protected under a luminescent resin finish on a 24" x 36" canvas. MiMo began this masterpiece in 2015 and finished in 2020, explaining the double dates and signatures.

The third photo was taken at MiMo's studio at the time of purchase.

Photos truly do not do this piece justice. The dazzling metal flakes appear almost like diamonds.

This piece was purchased directly from MiMo and comes with a certificate of authenticity from Bowen Art Reserve LLC. See less
