The Sprite was Lovegrove’s take on the molded plywood side chair, the shell is six layers of maple pressed into a single continuous curve, seat through back, with no break in the line. These are the two-tone version: exotic wood veneer on the outer face, red on the inner, with natural maple edges left exposed where the two meet. Bases are 5/8” tubular steel in mirror chrome. Made in the USA by Knoll.
The pair works as dining chairs, desk chairs, or extra seating that stacks out of the way when you don’t need it.
