A pair of early 20th-century Chinese architectural panels, reimagined as an illuminated wall sculpture — equally striking in an entryway, above a console, or as a focal point in a living room. The warm, adjustable glow brings out the depth of the hand-carved relief and the traces of original gold leaf, turning a piece of architectural history into functional art.
These are surviving fragments from a traditional timber-framed structure, dating to circa 1920. Each panel retains its original faded crimson lacquer and remnants of hand-applied gold leaf — a surface shaped by a century of natural aging, impossible to replicate today.
Upgraded LED Lighting: The lamp features a remote-controlled, adjustable LED light with three color temperatures and full dimming capability. Mounted on solid wood backplates with a 2 cm floating gap, the pair is ready to hang with pre-installed hardware.
One-of-a-kind pair.
