Painter born on August 1st, 1920 in Châteauroux.
Brother of the poet and playwright Henri Pichette, French painter associated with the current of the informal art.
In 1942 he began to paint figurative paintings and then went though a cubist period like most painters of his generation.
In 1947, he exhibited for the first time at the Salon des Surindépendants, the same year he left for Italy and spent several months in Rome. His beginnings were encouraged by Gino Severini, Alberto Magnelli and Jacques Villon.
He worked in the studios of Cinecittà, where he produced his first abstract works tinged with surrealism. This piece has an attribution mark,
