A beautiful hard-to-find antique green uranium glass 8-piece beverage set featuring a large pitcher with six matching tumblers. It is a striking classic Art Deco geometric design with its stacked panels of thin blown glass. Made by Dunbar Flint Glass in the 1920s.

The pitcher has a lid, hand-pulled spout and hand-applied handle. It is in mint condition. The six tumblers are in excellent shape with one containing a flea-bite chip on the rim. No cracks or other chips. Random air bubbles or specks of debris can be expected with hand blown glass produced from this time period. The set is in extraordinary condition for its 100-year existence.

The set glows a bright, vibrant green fluorescence under UV/black light consistent with uranium glass due to the trace amounts of uranium dioxide added to the glass formula during production. The reaction to UV light is amazingly bright. See UV photos.

Founded as Dunbar Flint Glass Company in 1912, the company originally produced lamp chimneys but by the 1920s the company had expanded into giftware, bareware, tableware, and lighting goods.
