A true statement piece, this beautifully crafted Goldsmith bombe-style chest features a dramatic curved silhouette, richly figured wood veneers, intricate parquetry detailing, elegant cabriole legs, and ornate antiqued hardware. The warm variation and geometric movement of the woodwork continue across the drawer fronts, top, and sides, making the piece striking from every angle.
The chest offers four functional drawers—two smaller upper drawers and two generous full-width drawers—combining beautiful decorative design with practical storage. Original label by Goldsmith of Harrisburg, PA displayed in back of drawer.
Most importantly, the piece retains its original Goldsmith maker’s mark, providing identifiable provenance and adding to its appeal as a collectible vintage furniture piece.
A gorgeous choice for an entryway, bedroom, living room, dining space, or anywhere that calls for a one-of-a-kind statement piece with old-world character and craftsmanship.
