The head is mounted on a slender support above a square metal base, with raised ears, dark inset eyes, and a broad, expressive face.

Shaped metal sections form the forehead and muzzle, with contrasting silver-toned details defining the stripes and whisker markings. Layers of finely cut metal fringe surround the face, adding texture and showing the considerable work involved in its construction. Visible seams follow the contours of the head, becoming part of the design.

The warm brass and copper surfaces contrast with the lighter markings and dark eyes, making the expression particularly pronounced. Its large scale gives it a strong presence on a credenza, console, or pedestal, while the simple stand keeps the detailed metalwork clearly in view.
