French Belle Époque Parisian street scenes featuring landmarks, streetlamps, bustling figures, and carriages are the hallmark of Blanchard's oeuvre and hold strong commercial appeal in high-end decorative markets.
A richly atmospheric French Parisian street-scene oil painting in the celebrated Belle Époque manner of Antoine Blanchard. The composition captures the romance of historic Paris, with animated pedestrians, elegant carriages and/or early automobiles, glowing streetlamps, and grand architectural landmarks set beneath a luminous sky.

Executed with a lively, impressionistic touch, the painting balances detailed architectural elements with softly painted figures, reflective pavement, and a warm, nostalgic city atmosphere. Its traditional Parisian subject and decorative scale make it a compelling focal point for a living room, library, dining room, entry hall, boutique hotel, restaurant, or French-inspired interior.

The work is presented in its decorative gilt frame and is ready to hang.

Dimensions & Signature: Standard original oils on canvas measuring approximately 13" x 18" to 20" x 24" perform consistently well, especially when clearly signed "A. Blanchard" or "Antoine Blanchard" in the lower corner. See less
