The piece features … Read more This is a vintage MacKenzie-Childs "Rose Cottage" fluted ruffle bowl, handcrafted during the company's early "Founder's Era". The piece features the signature hand-painted pink and white striped rim, coupled with a detailed lattice and rosebud center design. The 1989 stamp on the bottom denotes the exact year it was produced at the original studio in Aurora, New York. Early terracotta and ceramic pieces from this specific period are highly collectible among pottery enthusiasts. There is a round high spot where the glaze missed, this is not a chip it happened during manufacturing. See less
