Measuring approximately 16'2" x 2'10" (194 x 34 inches), the rug presents an uninterrupted sequence of ornament across its narrow field, creating a strong sense of movement and visual continuity from one end to the other. The design is particularly striking because it abandons the conventional central medallion in favor of an expansive repeating arrangement that emphasizes the extraordinary length of the textile.

The central field is constructed from alternating diagonal bands in deep midnight navy and warm camel-gold, arranged in a consistent ascending rhythm. Within the navy bands are small stylized flowering plants composed of slender ivory stems supporting clusters of coral, salmon, and muted red blossoms. The adjacent camel bands contain smaller abstract botanical devices, giving the composition a carefully balanced alternation between dark and light passages. The repeated diagonal structure creates an almost architectural quality, while the individually articulated motifs preserve the unmistakable character of a handwoven tribal textile.

An elaborate series of borders surrounds the field.
