Rather than relying on a conventional central medallion, the design is organized into long vertical panels, giving the rug a distinctive architectural quality ideally suited to a hallway, gallery, or other narrow interior space.

The composition combines broad floral bands with narrower geometric columns. Large stylized blossoms, leafy branches, scrolling vines, buds, and botanical forms extend vertically through the field, while the narrower bands contain repeating angular cartouche-like shapes outlined in dark brown. At the ends, a decorative border of small shield- or pendant-shaped motifs creates a strong visual termination to the long composition.
