The design combines scandinavian minimalism with the futuristic spirit of the 1970s. The funnel-shaped shade is made of transparent, blue-tinted acrylic, crowned by a slender, tubular chrome finial. The contrast between the cool and warm tones of the gleaming metal and the colored resin gives the lamp an exceptionally elegant silhouette. A spectacular effect unfolds as soon as the light is switched on: the bulb not only illuminates the area directly beneath the lamp but also causes the surrounding transparent blue acrylic to glow. The lamp transforms into a luminous, color-intensive work of art, creating a wonderfully atmospheric play of light. The silver reflector is, of course, included.
