The "Torbecchia" sideboard, designed by Giovanni Michelucci in the 1960s and produced by Poltronova, is an iconic work of Italian interior design and architecture. Crafted from solid walnut with warm, natural grain, it stands out for its sculptural grandeur and solid yet extremely harmonious proportions. The main body features a functional and well-balanced configuration, with two side doors featuring distinctive circular wooden handles and a central column of drawers. The distinctive feature of this piece lies in the upper section: the projecting upper band houses two fold-out compartments with a drop-down top, ideal for discreetly storing objects. Every construction detail, from the wooden joints to the architect's signature imprinted on the profile, demonstrates refined and timeless craftsmanship, perfect for enhancing elegant spaces both modern and period.
