Spanish hand-knotted wool rug,
possibly from the Royal Tapestry Factory,
first half of the 20th century.
Crimson red field, central oval medallion with an eight-lobed radial rosette, gold/cream scrolls and acanthus leaves, large maroon border with vegetal ornamentation, Charles IV/Neoclassical style.
Possibly from the Royal Tapestry Factory/Stuyck.
