Wilkins for g-plan , one of the most iconic british furniture collections of the mid-century period. Crafted in beautifully grained teak, this substantial highboard combines generous storage with the elegant sculptural detailing for which the fresco series is renowned. It features multiple cupboards, three central drawers , open shelving and the collection’s distinctive sculpted teak handles. The cabinet rests on an elegant raised base with tapered legs and a curved stretcher, while the softly rounded edges and organic detailing give this large piece a refined and balanced appearance. A highly collectible and functional statement piece, ideal as a highboard, drinks cabinet or dining-room storage cabinet. Designer: victor b.
