Designed … Read more Marvelous first-edition large gatto cocoon table lamp in fabulous condition and with a spectacular and perfectly uniform beige patina. Designed by achille and pier giacomo castiglioni and produced by flos in italy during the 1960s. Fully original, in outstanding condition, with no rips or tears and with an incredibly charming vintage patina that makes this piece truly one-of-a-kind. Of the two versions designed by the castiglioni brothers, this is the larger one. The iconic gatto table lamp is made with an internal frame in curved steel, which is covered with a special soft cocoon resin. The resin has a beautiful, even patina that gives it a wonderful beige color. The effect when lit is simply spectacular, with a warm and welcoming glow. Wired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, it uses a single e26/e27 light bulb. An incredibly unique and iconic italian table lamp, perfect to complement a mid-century style project. official proof of authenticity,
