This striking Italian serving dish dates from the 1970s and combines polished stainless steel with gold-tone metal and decorative clear glass details. Marked “INOX 18/10 Made in Italy,” the piece reflects the glamorous approach to tableware and entertaining accessories that became particularly popular in Italy during the 1970s.
The circular serving dish features a highly polished domed stainless-steel cover set within a broad gold-tone rim. Three sculptural handles provide the most distinctive decorative element: each combines a simple oval gold-tone metal loop with clusters of faceted clear glass elements. A matching handle crowns the domed lid, creating a balanced and highly decorative composition.
The combination of reflective 18/10 stainless steel, warm gold tones and jewel-like glass details gives the piece an unmistakably luxurious 1970s character. It can be used as a covered serving dish at the table or displayed as a decorative object on a dining table, sideboard or bar.
