On the Design:

This Chinese Deco rug captures the quiet elegance of mid-century Asian textile art through an earthy, botanical-inspired color palette. The layout centers on an olive-green ground, where subtle, natural abrash creates a soft, luminous depth across the pile. Framing the central expanse, a muted sage-green border establishes a clean architectural boundary around the perimeter without feeling rigid or heavy.

Extending fluidly from the corners and along the sides, dark, winding stems bear stylized peonies, plum blossoms, and fluttering butterflies rendered in rich jewel tones of wine red, dusty pink, violet, and ivory. The contrasting floral scales and dark stems ground the soft green backdrop with graphic clarity, making this versatile piece an extraordinary focal point for boutique residential projects and refined interior spaces.
