Vintage Toy Town Grocery delivery truck, featuring an orange painted pressed-steel body with black “TOY TOWN GROCERY” lettering on both sides. Great early commercial delivery-truck form with open cab windows, metal disc wheels, running boards, front fenders and an open rear cargo area.
The truck is estate fresh and being offered as found. It retains a very attractive amount of its original orange painted finish and graphics. There is scattered paint loss, scratching, surface wear, oxidation and general age/use wear throughout, giving it a wonderful untouched appearance and patina. The rear cargo door/panel is present. Please examine the photographs carefully for construction, completeness and condition.
The wheels are present, and the underside retains the original orange-painted pressed-steel construction. No restoration has been attempted.
A particularly appealing early grocery/store advertising-style toy truck with excellent display presence.
Approximate measurements:
