Where Lebanto's stone pieces gather weight, this one gives it away.

The glass is tinted a cool, smoke grey, dark enough to read as architecture yet never quite opaque. Light passes through it and softens, so the piece holds a shadowed depth rather than a solid mass, its tone shifting quietly through the day. It is the cooler, more restrained sibling to the bronzed glass. It is Italian glass, cut and worked to the same tolerances Lebanto applies to its stone, so the edges read as clean lines rather than as thickness. Within the collection it is the lightest register the brand offers, a counterweight to the heavier pieces.

Nothing about the making is concealed. Two panels of glass interlock at right angles into a self-supporting cross-leg base, the join legible straight through the material, so structure and surface are the same thing.

As a smoked glass dining table it settles a space rather than crowding it, at home at the centre of a dining space. Like every Lebanto piece, the Yuri is made to order in Cantù, in the historic heart of Lombardy's furniture district, from a curated material palette of full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glass.
