Each material is left to read as itself.

Emperador Dark is a Spanish marble from the region of Murcia, a deep, even brown threaded with fine veins of white and cream calcite, the warmest and most grounded of the marbles Lebanto works with. The oak answers in kind: solid European oak smoked to a near-black brown, its grain still legible beneath the finish, so the marble and oak read as two tones of a single warmth. These tops are cut from natural stone, and no two of these Emperador Dark marble and oak lounge tables are ever quite the same.

Below the top, two solid oak boards are notched and slotted one through the other into a self-supporting cross-leg base. There is no bracket, no metal and no visible fixing, only the join itself doing the structural work.

The Emperador Dark marble and oak lounge table asks little of a room and gives it a centre, at home in front of a sofa. Like every Lebanto piece, the Palm is made to order in Cantù, in the historic heart of Lombardy's furniture district, from a curated material palette of full-slab stone, solid timber, and premium Italian glass.
