this exceptional and handcrafted artist-made table by peter schrader combines everyday usability with a radical design approach. The sun-yellow lacquered mdf tabletop deliberately breaks away from glossy perfection: targeted incisions and grooves crafted in flowing movements create a vibrant, unique surface structure that eliminates any fear of the first scratch and makes daily use straightforward. The top is supported by a sturdy, black-lacquered metal cylinder. A custom-fitted wooden element integrated into the underside of the top ensures secure and stable attachment. According to the previous owner, the piece dates back to the 1990s, and an original exhibition catalog documenting the artist’s 1992 showcase at bauhaus dessau is included in the delivery.

the table is in a very well-maintained, pre-owned condition with a solid and stable construction. There are no coarse signs of use or paint chips that disturb the overall appearance. This art piece presents itself in an excellent condition.
