Wonderful antique Metalcraft pressed-steel advertising delivery truck for Werk’s TAG Soap, retaining its old black and green painted finish and a vintage wrapped bar of Werk’s TAG “The Rich Soap” in the cargo compartment.
The pressed-steel truck has an early commercial delivery-truck form with black cab and chassis, green enclosed box body, disc wheels and yellow TAG SOAP lettering on both sides. The rear opens to reveal the cargo area and soap bar.
Measures approximately 11 inches long x 5.25 inches high x 4 inches deep.
Estate fresh and displaying a particularly attractive untouched surface. There is expected age-related paint wear, scratches, oxidation, discoloration and general play/use wear. The soap wrapper has considerable age wear, losses and deterioration but remains recognizable and displays nicely with the truck.
Please examine all photographs closely for condition and completeness. No attempt has been made to clean, polish, repaint or restore the truck.
