This distinctive hand-crafted ceramic sculpture features a richly textured, earth-toned body with a dramatic dark brown glazed face and an extraordinary dimensional mane. Tom and Judy Touchstone are self-taught Georgia folk artists known for their pottery, sculpture, painting and imaginative ceramic figures. Their Turkey Mountain Pottery studio in Armuchee, Georgia became part of the region’s celebrated folk-art community and was associated with Finster Fest.
