Description:
Presenting a magnificent and highly decorative vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel tea bowl set (Gaiwan). This traditional three-piece set includes the lid, the bowl, and the saucer.
Crafted on a solid copper body with intricate hand-wired filigree (掐丝), the set is beautifully decorated with vibrant scrolling floral motifs (peonies, chrysanthemums, and other blossoms) and delicate butterflies against a rich, deep cobalt blue ground. The edges are accented with classic light blue ruyi cloud borders. The interiors of the bowl, lid, and saucer are coated in a striking, bright turquoise (Robin's Egg) enamel. The rims, foot, and lid finial are all finished with polished gilt bronze, adding a luxurious, regal touch.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The gilt bronze rims and finial are bright and well-preserved. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No structural damage. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
