The elongated vertical composition is formed by a series of substantial transparent cylindrical glass elements mounted between curved upper and lower brass plates.
When illuminated, the clear rods are designed to catch, refract, and diffuse the light, producing a luminous effect while maintaining the strong geometric character of the piece. The warm antique brass finish contrasts beautifully with the transparency of the rods, giving the sconce the sophisticated material combination associated with high-end Italian lighting of the late 20th century.
At 28 inches high, this is a particularly substantial wall light with considerable architectural presence. It would work beautifully as a statement fixture in an entryway, library, hallway, powder room, or alongside a large mirror or work of art.
