Each square-form decanter is deeply cut with a bold geometric/starburst pattern and retains its matching large faceted ball-form glass stopper. The bottles fit into the divided wooden stand, which has a hinged locking top bar and metal carrying handle. Side hardware operates the locking mechanism, creating the classic Tantalus design intended to secure the decanters while still leaving them visible.

The wooden stand appears to be mahogany or a similar richly colored hardwood and has an attractive traditional form. The underside is finished with burgundy felt.

Overall measurements: approximately 16-1/2” wide x 13” high x 7” deep.

Very good estate condition overall with typical age and use wear. There is some wear along the edges of the wooden stand and some interior cloudiness/residue toward the bottoms of the decanters. Please examine the photographs closely for condition. No maker’s mark has been identified.
