Woven in the mountains near the city of Sivas in the early 1950s this is a really nice kilim in good condition. It has two panels each with a central Bereket pattern, meaning abundance, fertility and fruitfulness. Outer border has a simplified version of the same pattern with the inner border depicting running water around you, creating a layer of protection. A unique and authentic kilim rug with a lot of love and meaning woven into. Fully cleaned and dusted. See less
