This beautiful Turkish Kilim, made in the 1950s, is a lovely Cicim rug from Anatolian mountains, woven with naturally dyed wool in variations of color. An absolutely gorgeous rug is in natural and aniline colors. The rug is woven on goat hair foundations with a colorful wool cicim weave.
Due to the tough and hard nature of goat hair, there are some curling to the corners which is very common for this type of rug and not considered as a fault.
