Rare opportunity to own an original, one of a kind large scale piece by contemporary visual artist Alex Alpert.
Titled “Waves,” this monumental 42” x 84” ink-on-paper artwork was commissioned directly from Alex Alpert in January 2021. At the time, I discovered Alex & was so drawn to his unique, stream of consciousness style that I commissioned this piece personally.
Since then, his career has grown tremendously, with collaborations and projects involving major brands and organizations including Nike, Formula 1, American Express, Red Bull, Subway, Art Basel, the NBA, the Grammy Awards, Bugatti and others.
His work has also been collected by notable figures including Tom Brady, Mark Zuckerberg, Serena Williams, John Summit, Fisher and Kaskade.
This is the original artwork - Edition 1/1 - not a print or reproduction. It was created personally by Alex as a private commission and is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity documenting the artist, title, medium, dimensions, date of creation and original 1/1 status.
The piece has been carefully preserved and is currently unframed. It has a protective covering/barrier around the artwork that can be removed by the new owner if desired, allowing the piece to be professionally custom framed according to their preference.
I originally commissioned this piece directly from Alex in 2021, and it has been personally owned and cared for since then.
