This striking pair of vintage cast bronze leopards features a bold, stylized design inspired by classic West African Benin bronze craftsmanship. Each figure is sculpted in a dynamic standing posture, characterized by stylized, highly textured, beaded-pattern spots throughout the body and tail. The long, dramatic tails curl gracefully upward into full loops over their backs, creating a commanding silhouette.
Their expressive faces display sculpted whiskers, prominent fangs, wide alert eyes, and pointed ears, capturing a fiercely majestic expression. The statues are finished with an aged, weathered green verdigris patina over the heavy bronze metal, giving them a distinctive antiqued finish suitable for indoor display, entryway guarding, or upscale garden accents.
