features: this wardrobe is a former sncf (french national railway) locker from the 1950s. It is distinguished by its slender silhouette and single paneled door, typical of mid-20th-century french utilitarian furniture. Its understated design, free of superfluous ornamentation, lends it great elegance. Inside, it offers generous storage space with four solid wood shelves (of fixed height). Its original patina, marked by time, gives it a highly sought-after authentic character.

restoration: the armoire was gently sanded to remove its grimy, orangey finish, then carefully washed and protected with a clear wax.
