materials: entirely made of solid pine, with original antique handles and hardware.

features: this antique english linen press consists of an upper section with two paneled doors and four solid pine drawer pulls, topped by an elegant molded cornice, and a lower section with four large drawers. Its two-part construction and ample storage capacity are characteristic of english linen presses, traditionally used for household linens. A rare piece that instantly brings the charm of english country houses to any interior.

restoration: the cabinet has been gently sanded by hand to preserve its patina. It has also been treated against wood-boring insects and cleaned before being waxed. The base has been reattached.

condition: this english wardrobe is in superb condition with some signs of wear, particularly on the chest section, as seen in the photos. The doors lock, and the drawers slide smoothly.
