A beautiful set of six ch36 dining chairs designed by hans j. Wegner for carl hansen & søn, denmark 1970. Crafted in solid oak, the chairs feature wegner’s characteristic refined simplicity, with gently curved backrests, rounded legs and elegant exposed construction.
the seats retain their original woven paper cord, beautifully executed in the distinctive geometric pattern and showing a warm, naturally aged tone. The combination of oak and paper cord gives the chairs a light and timeless scandinavian appearance.
the set is in very good original condition, showing only minor signs of age and use. Several chairs retain their original danish furnituremakers’ control labels underneath. A particularly well-preserved set of one of wegner’s classic danish designs. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
