Arabescato Vagli is a refined white marble from the Vagli basin in the Apuan Alps, above Carrara. Sweeping grey veins move across its white-to-cream ground in the flowing, arabesque lines that give the stone its name, dramatic without ever tipping into the theatrical. Every top is cut from its own block, so no two of these Arabescato Vagli marble coffee tables are quite alike.

Beneath the top, the making is all economy. Two panels of the same stone meet perpendicular and lock together into a self-supporting cross-leg base, one slotting through the other, the join left in open view as the single detail the design allows itself.
