The smoked glass carries the surface and the structure both.

The glass is tinted a cool, smoke grey, dark enough to read as architecture yet never quite opaque. Light passes through it and softens, so the piece holds a shadowed depth rather than a solid mass, its tone shifting quietly through the day. It is the cooler, more restrained sibling to the bronzed glass. It is Italian glass, cut and worked to the same tolerances Lebanto applies to its stone, so the edges read as clean lines rather than as thickness. Within the collection it is the lightest register the brand offers, a counterweight to the heavier pieces.

Its structure is worn openly. Two panels of the same glass are slotted one through the other into an interlocking cross-leg base, the join fully visible through the material it is made from, with no metal, no frame and no hardware to interrupt the line.

The smoked glass coffee table asks little of a room and gives it a centre, at home in front of a sofa.
