The Bronze Antinous was a young Greek man from Bithynia and the great love of Emperor Hadrian. After his mysterious death in the waters of the Nile in 130 AD, Hadrian deified him, transforming him into a symbol of eternal beauty and spirituality. His cult spread throughout the Roman Empire, and his image became one of the most famous in classical art. Here, in this sculpture, we have reproduced his likeness, which captures all the beauty and significance of the myth. See less
