Elegant Mid-Century modern two-seater sofa by Ole Wanscher, produced by France & Son (Cado) as part of the iconic Senator series. Made in Denmark during the 1960s, it is a refined example of Scandinavian design tradition.

Crafted from solid teak, the frame features organic lines and exquisite detailing. The horizontal slatted backrest offers structural elegance and makes this piece especially attractive when placed freestanding in a room. The armrests and joints are carefully shaped and demonstrate Wanscher’s dedication to functional craftsmanship.

The new cushions are filled with high-quality foam and upholstered in a light grey-beige bouclé fabric from Kvadrat / Sahco, offering both texture and softness in a neutral, timeless tone.

The sofa is in very good vintage condition: The wooden frame is solid and sturdy with only minor signs of age, such as small scratches, slight discolorations, and subtle wear to the lower frame. The upholstery is brand new and unused.
