the lamp features a softly rounded, ribbed plastic dome shade with a recessed moulded rim. A thin circular battleship-grey painted metal ring is positioned horizontally across the shade, creating a striking, almost saturn-like profile.

above the shade is a tapered teak fitting, through which the original electrical cable passes. The lamp retains its original lyfa bakelite bulb socket, adding an important period detail to the construction.

the combination of moulded plastic, natural teak and painted metal gives the pendant a particularly distinctive scandinavian modern character. The relatively compact dimensions make it suitable for use individually over a small dining table, bedside area, hallway or reading space, or as part of a larger arrangement.
