A unique piece! This tall chest of drawers, also known as a "weekly chest" because it has seven drawers: one for each day of the week.
Handcrafted from solid pine, circa 1940/1950. The drawers are dovetailed, a mark of quality.
The finish is a Florentine patina, identical to that of the 18th century; it is a lengthy process requiring skill and expertise. The pigments are stabilized with a special matte varnish.
Colors: terracotta and ochre brown.
The drawers slide smoothly.
