A rare piece, both decorative and functional.

materials: structure in speckled maple and mahogany veneer, and large central beveled mirror (original).

features: this large wardrobe opens with three doors, including a central door adorned with an antique beveled mirror. Its speckled maple and string-inlaid marquetry fronts are framed by fluted uprights that accentuate its rounded silhouette. The interior offers ample storage space with eleven shelves and a drawer (height adjustable via a rack and pinion system). Its generous proportions and refined aesthetic make it particularly well-suited to a bedroom, dressing room, or grand entryway.

restoration: the wardrobe has been entirely hand-sanded, then cleaned, and finally protected with a clear wax. One leg has also been repaired.

condition: this art deco wardrobe is in superb condition. The doors close properly, but they do not lock. It should be noted that the left door is very slightly warped at the top, but this does not prevent it from closing. Finally, the hardware is not original.

this wardrobe is fully demountable and will be delivered assembled, but can be delivered disassembled if you prefer. Each component of the wardrobe will be labeled, and detailed illustrated instructions will be sent to you for easy reassembly.
